Nancy Kovack
Nancy Kovack, a native from Flint in Michigan, was already in the ranks of a University of Michigan student by at the age of 15 an amateur radio DJ by 16 and a graduate of college at the age of 19. She had won eight beauty contests by the time she reached the age of 20. In New York she began her acting career playing one of the glea girls of Jackie Gleason, in addition to appearing in The Dave Garroway (1953), Today (1952) and Beat the Clock (1951). Kovack's Hollywood acting career began through a role on stage. Kovack signed on for Columbia following the completion of the show. Later, she racked up an impressive list of television credits for episodic shows which included an Emmy award for her guest appearance in 1969 on Mannix (1967). Kovack is the famous spouse of Zubin Mehta from the New York Philharmonic. Kovack claims to have been scammed (to an amount of 150 000) by Susan McDougal who was a key character in Whitewater. In five appearances on the scene comedy Bewitched (1964), three of her appearances portrayed Darrin Stephens' eccentric former girlfriend Sheila Summers. Her father was an executive at General Motors executive. Zubin Mehta, her husband, lives with her in Los Angeles. In 1954, she received her degree from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor in Michigan. Famous for her role as the captivating Indigenous Medicine Woman Nona in Star Trek 2nd season's episode A Private Little War, 1968.
